My roommate, Victoria, and I threw a Galentine’s Day party for our girlfriends here in Washington, DC. It was one of those nights we all talked about well into the next day. And though it was a mix of women single and married, it made this Valentine’s Day one for the books! Need some DYI: Galentine’s Day Party Inspo? I listed everything we got for the party so you can throw your own!
Here’s round up of what we planned + got for the party, so that you can create your own fun, feminine Galentine’s Day Party!
- + Flower Wall:
- 3 boquets of flowers — grocery store
- Scotch tape to secure them to the wall (non fell during the party!)
- + Heart-shaped pizza
- We got 3 from Papa Johns
- We had to call a couple days in advance to make sure we we got the heart-shaped ones
- + Yes, Way Rose
- From Target
- + Chocolate Covered Strawberries
- Got 1 big carton from Costo (you can order there through Instacart without a membership) — Costo
- 1 bag of chocolate chips to melt (put in microwave for 15 seconds, stir, and repeat until it’s completely melted) — grocery store
- + Popcorn Bags + Valentine’s Day M&Ms
- Styled paper bags — Target
- Skinny Pop popcorn — grocery store
- Specialty pink and red M&Ms — grocery store
- + Skincare Bar
- Face Masks (I just pulled out my own collection, we had about 12 sheets for 11 girls)
- Individually packaged make-up removing wipes — Target
- Hair scrunchies from Amazon (we got enough for girls to take theirs home) — Amazon
- + What Do You Meme Game (it’s like Apples to Apples, but for 17+) — Amazon
- We got a Mean girl’s extender pack for the Galentine’s Day occasion — Amazon
