If my sabbatical taught me anything, it was how important it is for you to take care of yourself. I was so tired, so spread thin — but thought I was doing fine. I was operating on all cylinders until characteristics I didn’t recognize in myself started coming out. Insecurity, pessimism, fear. That’s what woke me up.
And I don’t want you to get to that point. We all need rest, even when we think we are okay.
Because the truth is…
You deserve to be so much more than okay.
You deserve a break from work to do what you love.
You’re worth the investment of therapy.
Lose yourself in a hobby.
Find “breath work” tutorials on Youtube.
Connect with nature.
Plan for the future so you don’t have to stay in your present forever.
